Joining FixTheMusic
Everything about applying, onboarding, and getting your profile live — it costs nothing to join, and we build the profile for you.
How do I apply to join?
Section titled “How do I apply to join?”Email hello@fixthemusic.com with:
- Your act name and where you’re based
- A link to your best high-quality, unbranded promotional video (no other agencies’ logos/watermarks)
- Links to photos, audio and your website/socials
We review every application and reply to all. We take a limited number of acts per category and region, so we may hold your application for a future opening.
What do you need from me to build the profile?
Section titled “What do you need from me to build the profile?”Once you’re in, you’ll complete our onboarding form. Have these ready:
| Material | Notes |
|---|---|
| Photos | High-resolution, unbranded |
| Videos | High-quality, unbranded, live-performance footage |
| Biography | A few paragraphs — we’ll edit it to fit the site |
| Reviews | From past clients, in English, with client name, date and venue |
| Set-list / rep-list | For music acts |
| Location & performance areas | Where you’re based and how far you travel |
What happens after I’m accepted?
Section titled “What happens after I’m accepted?”- You receive an invitation email with your dashboard login
- You complete the onboarding form and send your material
- We build your profile for you — including the unique act name we’ll list you under (see Dashboard & profile for why)
- You get the live link to review; any changes after that are just an email away
Why was my video rejected?
Section titled “Why was my video rejected?”What we look for, from the invitation onwards:
- Unbranded footage — no other agencies’ logos, watermarks or intro slides
- High quality — proper audio mix, steady filming
- Live-performance clips (what you actually sound like at events)
Can I register more than one act?
Section titled “Can I register more than one act?”Yes — several musicians on FTM run two or three line-ups (e.g. a duo and a full band). Email hello@ and we’ll set up the second act; mention if they share members, as that affects availability.
What does it cost to be listed?
Section titled “What does it cost to be listed?”Listing is free. FTM takes a commission on confirmed bookings — typically 18%, your exact rate is in your contract (see Payments & invoicing). We never charge musicians to apply or appear.
Where can I see the dashboard before joining?
Section titled “Where can I see the dashboard before joining?”Watch the New Dashboard Demo Overview video — it walks through quoting, templates and payment links.
